Hearth Brooms @ Wyldwood Creative
Ready to get swept away with an in depth broom making experience? Participants will learn to bind and weave broom corn to a handle and stitch the fibers flat in this two day workshop. All materials provided, including an assortment of locally collected natural broom handles to choose from. Open to all beginners, however, please be aware that broom making is a physical task that requires sustained effort and hand strength. Previous experience with an Intro to Hand Brooms or Cobwebber Broom workshop recommended. We will be working with damp materials and you may want to bring a small towel for your lap.
Floor Brooms @ Make Apothecary

This class will be both Saturday March 7th from 11:30am-1:30pm and Sunday March 8th, from 11:30am-1:30pm.
Hand Brooms at Wolf Craft School
Learn to weave your own turkey wing and hawk's tail hand broom in this introductory, hands-on class. We will discuss the tools, materials, and techniques for crafting beautiful and functional brooms that will have you sweeping out the corners in style. Open to all beginners, each participant will leave with two completed hand brooms. Please be aware that broom making is a physical task and moderate hand strength is recommended.
Weave a Cobwebber Broom at Wolf Craft School
Take broommaking to the next level and learn to weave a cobwebber broom!
An especially versatile broom, the cobwebber is made for sweeping into high corners and difficult to reach spots. Participants will learn to weave and stitch broomcorn and leave with a functional broom full of unique character. There will be an assortment of natural wood handles to choose from. Open to all beginners. Please be aware that we will be working with damp materials and students may want to bring a small towel for their lap. Broom making is a physical task and moderate hand strength is recommended.
